Daniel Stoneman: Brisbane Wedding singer accused of rape is dealt yet another blow – Daily Mail

A wedding singer is facing fresh charges after initially appearing in court last month charged with four counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.

Daniel Stoneman, 34, has now also been charged with deprivation of liberty, recordings in breach of privacy, distributing intimate images without consent, assault occasioning bodily harm and three counts of common assault. 

He appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court on March 2 over alleged sexual offending related to two women he met on a dating app.

Those offences allegedly occurred on the Gold Coast in 2019 and in Brisbane last year.

The new charges Stoneman, who is from Shailer Park, is facing were mentioned in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday, the Courier-Mail reported.

He was charged on March 20 and the alleged offences allegedly occurred in Brisbane.

Stoneman, who is in custody, did not appear in court and has not pleaded.

The case has been adjourned to Monday, April 8. 

The musician charges up to $3,000 to perform at weddings in south-east Queensland from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast. 

‘Daniel will work with you to meet all requirements and expectations for your event, including creating a set list to suit your event and learning new songs not yet in his repertoire,’ his website says. 

It adds that ‘he is also happy to take requests while performing’.
