Chris Harrison and Lauren Zima’s wedding celebrations were certainly not the most dramatic of them all.
As several members of Bachelor Nation traveled to Texas this past weekend to celebrate the couple’s love story, many fans were intrigued to find exes Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick both in attendance.
While the weekend served as their first public reunion since breaking up in August, one source exclusively told The Messenger this was also the first time they had seen each other since Tartick moved out.
“Jason and Kaitlyn had not seen each other at all since the breakup. This was the first time,” a source close to Tartick shared. “They were friendly, polite, kind and respectful to one another at the wedding. Jason had such a fun time celebrating Chris and Lauren, he was honored to be there.”
Another insider echoed the first, adding, “Kaitlyn and Jason were friendly at the wedding and did make an effort to say hello to each other.”
“They are cordial and are being mature about the situation,” the second source continued. “They still have to tie up some loose ends with their businesses and financials that were combined.”
According to social media, the former pair appeared to define the term ‘friendly exes’ as they posed for group selfies together and raised a glass to the newlyweds.
“Nothing brings perspective to life’s nuances like witnessing two beautiful humans finding their soulmate,” Tartick wrote on Instagram with footage from the nuptials. “The celebration was truly incredible, and it was an honor to be present. It was a weekend filled with laughter, reminiscing and appreciation.”
Bristowe also took to social media and shared some of her favorite memories of the weekend.
“I love this incestuous family so much,” she joked. “I told Chris I’m going to need 3-5 business days to recover from the most perfect wedding of all time. I love love.”
Tartick saw the post and proceeded to comment, “It was great seeing you KB.” Bristowe replied, “Great seeing you too JT. RIP to the dance floor cuz we all killed it.”
Other couples spotted at the wedding included Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland, Becca Tilley and Hayley Kiyoko, Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert, Sean and Catherine Lowe and many more.
