OTT giant, Netflix has the knack of bagging the digital streaming rights of high-profile weddings and events. They then edit the footage with cinematic finesse and then stream the same on their platform.
Now, the latest updates are suggesting that the OTT giant has sealed the digital streaming rights of the recent wedding of Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi.
There are several social media reports that Netflix has paid a fancy price to the couple to acquire the digital streaming rights for the wedding. They have even captured the footage with their crew in Italy and even the pre-wedding festivities, say these reports.
If that really is the case, this show could have starry attractions as the likes of Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, and others are associated with the marriage of Varun and Lavanya. However, Netflix hasn’t yet commented or issued a statement to this effect.
Recently, Disney+ Hotstar streamed a show based on the marriage of Hansika. Now, it has to be seen if Netflix has done something on similar lines with Varun-Lavanya marriage.
