(KRON) — Police have arrested a man who is suspected of stealing a wedding dress off of a Redwood City porch on April 11, the Redwood City Police Department told KRON4 on Wednesday. The dress was found by a “concerned citizen” and returned to the bride, police said.

RCPD reported the theft on April 15, saying that an unidentified man took packages off a porch on the 800 block of Adams Street. The dress was among the items taken.

Police believe the thief is Henry Fonseca, 65, of Redwood City. He was booked into the San Mateo County Jail for grand theft.

After sharing a picture of the thief, police received multiple tips that led them to Fonseca. The $2,000 dress is now back in the right hands, police said.
