We can’t get enough of all of Alex Cooper’s gorge wedding ‘fits – Cosmopolitan UK

2 minutes, 18 seconds Read

Congratulations to Alex Cooper and Matt Kaplan who officially tied the knot earlier this month in Mexico. The Call Her Daddy podcast host is sharing an inside look at the entire wedding weekend on her Instagram, including every single one of her bridal ‘fits.

Because obvs the bride had multiple ensembles. With the actual wedding day featuring no less than three outfit changes from Alex, plus the rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks and beach party on the weekend itinerary, this is a masterclass in wearing bridal-worthy attire no matter the occasion. So buckle up, because we’re going through every single gorge wedding look.

First up, the couple kicked off their festivities by hosting welcome drinks for all their guests. Sharing all the details and additional pics with Vogue, Alex stunned in a double-layered dress embroidered with genuine baroque pearls and transparent sequins. She paired it with matching custom Jimmy Choo satin sandal shoes.

It’s the perfect party outfit and will be living rent-free in my head for a long time to come.

Stretching out every single minute of the weekend, we’re still not at the wedding day yet. Next up, it was the official day before with a rehearsal dinner in line with American tradition. For this, Alex donned a vintage Donna Karan Collection hand-embroidered tulle dress from the designer’s Spring 2011 release. Scroll to slide two to see.

Alex told Vogue, “When my stylist and I started the wedding-looks process, I knew I didn’t want to wear white the entire weekend and this dress was so ethereal. We pictured it on the beach immediately.”

All the boho bridal vibes. Okay, I’ve changed my mind. This dress will live rent-free in my head.

If you kept scrolling, you’ll know we’ve finally reached the big day (!!). Alex’s wedding dress was a custom Danielle Frankel silk wool square neck ball gown with a basque waist and internal corset. Her wedding shoes were a pair of custom Jimmy Choo sandals. Beautiful in its simplicity. But we need to talk about how adorable the couple’s two dogs, Henry and Bruce, look in their canine suits. Dare we say they almost upstage the bride?! Almost.

For the wedding reception, Alex changed into a short wedding dress. The silk chiffon corset dress is another vintage number, specifically from the spring 2003 Alexander McQueen “Irene” collection. She again opted for Jimmy Choo, wearing the designer’s Metz sandals on her feet.

Alex concluded her wedding day with one final outfit change following the cake cutting. Continuing her streak of archival and vintage looks, she opted for a Versace 1995 ecru lace-up corset top paired with a custom skirt for the evening’s party.

We told you, every single look is stunning. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Cooper Kaplan!
