Westminster wedding: the Dowager Duchess of Westminster, Lady Tamara Grosvenor, Lady Edwina Grosvenor and … – Tatler

Mother of the groom, the Dowager Duchess of Westminster was the picture of elegance as she arrived at the event. Dressed in a smart pink gown, she was beaming with joy and waved to crowds of locals who had lined the street. It was likely a poignant occasion for both the Dowager Duchess, and her children – the cathedral played host to Gerald Grosvenor’s memorial service back in 2016.

She arrived side-by-side with Lady Edwina Snow, who coordinated with her mother in a blush pink midi dress for the occasion. The mother-of-three, who is a goddaughter of the late Princess Diana, is married to TV historian Dan Snow, with the pair previously attending Prince Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle in 2018.

The two were also joined by Lady Tamara van Cutsem and Lady Viola Roberts at the Duke of Westminster’s wedding, with the foursome beaming as they waved to crowds before briefly stopping to chat outside the cathedral.

Back in 2004, Prince William was an usher for Hugh’s oldest sister Lady Tamara, when she married King Charles’ godson (and one-time page boy) Edward van Cutsem. Crowds at the time, alleged a local paper, shouted ‘Marry me, William!’ as the 22-year-old heir walked by. The couple have since gone on to welcome three children, Jake, 15, Louis, 12, and Isla, eight. Lady Viola, the youngest of the bunch, quietly married Royal Scots Dragoon Guard Angus Roberts two years ago.
